The Importance of Building a Solid Relationship With Your Pet's Veterinarian

You love your pet and consider them an important and valued member of your family. As such, it's vital that you care for them just like you would any member of your family. Building a positive working relationship with your pet's veterinarian is key to maintaining their overall health and helping them live a long and happy life. There are many reasons that this is beneficial:

  • Answers for Your Questions: If there's one thing that is true of any pet owner, it is that there will always be questions associated with your pet's care. You can contact our office to get a quick and knowledgeable answer for any question you might have about your pet.
  • Care if You're Traveling: Whether you've hired a pet sitter or dropped your pet off with family, you'll have peace of mind knowing that our veterinary clinic is available in case of an emergency.
  • Familiarity: As your pet grows and changes, their medical care will need to be adjusted. Consistent vet visits throughout your pet's life help them to feel comfortable at our animal hospital and allow us to administer the best level of treatment. Becoming familiar with your pet can even help us detect potential issues sooner rather than later.
  • Emergency Care: You're very likely to experience some sort of emergency at some point. Our animal hospital will be on hand to help with whatever emergency care your pet might need. If your emergency happens after hours, we will keep in close touch with your pet's emergency vet and make sure everyone is on the same page at all times.
